Refund policy

Each Aum Mala piece is handcrafted with authentic Rudraksha and natural gemstones and blessed before it reaches you. We want your mala to feel right. If it doesn’t, here’s how we’ll make it right.

14-day returns
You may return unworn items within 14 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method. Items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Why worn malas can’t be returned
Once a mala has been worn or used in practice, it carries your intention and energy, and we can’t offer it to another person as new. For this reason, we can only accept unworn pieces.

Free bracelet size exchanges
If your bracelet doesn’t fit, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll exchange it for another size of the same style at no cost. We’ll ship the new size free once we receive the original, subject to availability.

Natural variation
Rudraksha seeds and natural gemstones are gifts of the earth, and no two are identical. Variations in color, size, texture, and markings are part of each piece’s character and are not defects.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping.

Final sale items
Sale items, gift cards, and custom or personalized pieces are final sale.

How to start a return or exchange
Email bita@aummala.com with your order number and the item you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll reply within 2 business days with instructions. Please don’t send items back without contacting us first, as unannounced returns can’t be processed.

Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is your responsibility, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend a trackable service, since we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds
Once your return arrives, we’ll inspect it and email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit.

Wholesale orders
Wholesale purchases are governed by the terms in your wholesale agreement.
